Shannon grew up surrounded by a dog savvy family who nurtured her love for animals. She followed her passion into the field of veterinary technology and has had the privilege of working with many species of animals including dogs, cats, horses, primates, birds and exotics. She's never outgrown her childhood love for horses and some her her re-trained Thoroughbred racehorses have been re-homed across North America. Most recently, Shannon has specialized in shelter dog behaviour and canine aggression.

Shannon is a Certified Training Partner through the prestigious Karen Pryor Academy. She holds two certifications with the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers as both a dog trainer and canine behaviour consultant. Shannon has been a Registered Veterinary Technologist for almost 20 years and is a certified Elite Fear Free Professional who strives to help pet guardians and their veterinarians find solutions to training questions and behaviour problems in a positive, force-free way.​
